The Anglo Irish pub is Frankfurt’s oldest Irish pub, the pub is situated in the heart of Frankfurt’s old town (Alt Sachsenhausen). The Anglo-Irish is owned and run by Charlie Redmond. The pub opened on 1st Jan 1996 after working as bar manager for 12 years in what was then called the Anglo Saxon charlie changed it to a cosy Irish Pub with quality Irish and German beers and friendly staff it’s just like home from home.
Everything is remarkable! Our staff, the Guinness, the remarkable selection of whiskey. If you’ve not popped in yet, it really is time to visit.

Best pub in Frankfurt. Very friendly staff. Really small pub, can get crowded on weekends. Good place to catch a match.

Ordered a hop house,...

Ordered a hop house, got some watered down cheap lager. Found the smoke overpowering. But apart from that a decent Irish bar.

Nice little place, g...

Nice little place, good selection of beers and spirits. Staff are friendly and you're bound to hear UK or Irish accent so there'll always be someone to make you feel at home. Smoking is allowed indoors, so bear this in mind if you're thinking of going here if you don't like that! Overall a pretty decent place and would recommend a visit if you're ever in that part of Frankfurt
