Restaurant Cox

Excellent food, but extremely disappointed with the lack of support for Visa and Mastercards. Had to go walking up and down the street looking for an ATM to draw cash for payment. Who carries €300 in cash in these modern times for a restaurant??? Otherwise very good food and very friendly staff. Pity.

Wow what a brilliant find. The food is out of this world, I had the mullet to start then the ox shoulder. One of the best meals I have had in a while. Service is fantastic and so is the atmosphere. Will definitely come back.

Tasteful and original combinaisons for a great price. The waiters were really nice even if we all took various starters instead of a main dish to try what they had. I would definitely recommend it and go back 😀

A favourite of a friend of mine who lives locally Restaurant Cox is well appointed and located with a friendly ambience and equally friendly staff. On the day I visited the menu and execution of the dishes was interesting enough for me to want to return. Something that I will be doing as soon as possible.

Great place to enjoy good food with friends, make sure you make a reservation. Even though it was very busy, service was great. Would definitely recommend.

A very lively, popular and homely place - for good reason too. Had a wonderful meal here last night, restored my faith in the dining out experience a bit after many mediocre meals elsewhere of late. Not only was the food excellent but the service too, really made to feel welcome. Only gripe would be the extremely anachronistic payment options - when I asked why it was so, they said they've been here 30 years and always done it that way. And those options are clearly stated on the menu, so it's not like your being misled - just doesn't really suit modern, international visitors at all. Which is otherwise a little odd, given they have the menu very nicely translated into English and the staff all speak it very well too. Seems very self-defeating, and for no other reason than "my house, my rules". Hmm. If you can make your peace with that, highly recommended place!

A dinner there was a real treat. Delicious food - especially the duck liver parfait is worth trying. Very nice service and pleasant interior of the the place.
