The service was ok. But the quality is not the best. I didn't try the other persian restaurant in Hamburg, but it was ok if you want to try a persian food here.

Down-to-earth persian restaurant. Friendly staff. Well priced menu items. Good portion sizes. I especially loved their persian stews. Their kebabs were a bit too oily for me, but decent nonetheless.

The best point about this restaurant is its manager(owner), he was quite professional and welcoming, food was in a good quality(not best!) with a too big portion:) it will be served with some bread and cheese and vegetables, prices are acceptable, the location is in the city center close to hauptbahnhof, so good access! However the neighborhood is not so nice! (And this not the problem of restaurant!), Doogh was perfect! And Torshi was exactly the same as grandma’s house!!

We've been visiting Teheran for almost 30 years now, beginng in its old location in Ernst-Merck-Strasse. The building is not nicely located and it is not nice. It's a listed building, thus making alterations both exterior and interior virtually impossible. However, a bit more love would elevate well-being enormously. As it is, the ambiance is reminiscent of a train station waiting room. Getting there by foot from the Central Station, a ten minute-walk, leads past scenes and shops one doesn't really wish to see. Once inside, the welcome is warm and the service mostly excellent. There's always a complimentary plate of typical Persian starters; herbs, white cheese, walnuts, all in mini portions and, of course, onions, these enough to satiate a horse. Flatbread, of the vaguely Middle Eastern variety, comes with it. The dishes to eat here are the grilled meats (chicken, lamb fillet and minced lamb), prepared on skewers over open flames, accompanied by a salad or rice or both. Don't bother with the salads, they're neither fresh nor good. The one salad sauce offered is an atrocity out of a bottle. Don't bother with the rest of the dishes, either. They're mostly *khoresht*, which denotes a stew served with rice. These are best left to Iranian housewives. None of them would lend their name to what is served here. There are some delicious starters, such as the Shirazi and thick yoghurt with shallots and also Kuki Sabzi, which can loosely be described as an herb omelette. Prices are moderate in comparison to other Persian restaurants, payments by card are accepted. Oh, and bad news for vegetarians: there's very little on the menu, except for large portions of some of the starters. Try to avoid using the restrooms.

Fesenjoon was really tasty like homemade. Everything was great. Except some guests were very loud. We asked staff for asking them to be a little bit quieter, but they refused because of customer service which is understandable.

Authentic Persian cuisine. It’s suitable for all pallets as the spices used are more for aroma and are very gentle.

Very nice, affordable and authentic Persian restaurant with lovely servers. Fun fact!: apparently this is the oldest Persian restaurant in Hamburg. Definitely the best restaurant if your looking for proper Persian cuisine, 10/10. Will miss it dearly as I live far from Hamburg.

It is really close to Hamburg Banhof. The time for cooking meal for us was short, we ordered 2 kebab koobide with rice and it was delicious and alot that we couldn't finish it. Alot of ppl order by phone and then come to pick up, some group tables were reserved so if you are more than 4 persons maybe it is a good idea to reserve first. Every thing was great except one thing! I ordered one cola but they gave just in glass which means you can't take it with urself out even if you haven't drunk it completely, also it is so expensive 2.90 for one glass of cola! And they do this to prevent ppl from ordering 1 cola to share it with each other . People pay more but for such a thing you offer just in glass is not a good idea and we didn't like it because both of us wanted to drink cola but offered in one glass and finally one person couldn't even finish the whole glass so what is the point?! Also the music playing at background is so baddd, at least play Hayede or Ebi. 😑

The staff are supper nice and friendly. The "kebab chenje" is also very nice but my Kebab Koobideh had too much fat for my taste. I wished to taste more meat in it. I also liked that they serve the food with Persian-style herbs.
