Super friendly and attentive service, serving delicious food. The complementary Pfannkuchen pre starter in particular was delightful.

This was my favorite...

This was my favorite restaurant I went to while staying in Hamburg. The staff was very kind (and English-speaker friendly!) and the food exceptional. I ordered the traditional Hamburg Fischplatter, and it was heavenly. Great atmosphere and wonderful experience.

According to the Google verification of operating hours of this business, I arrived Tuesday morning @10AM on June 21,2022, it was closed, the sign stated it open 17:00-22:00 Tue-Sun, Closed Monday, so I went back to the restaurant @18:00 again, it was closed. I called on Wednesday @17:45 the following day, the owner picked up the phone, and told me they will be open on Friday.

What a wonderful mea...

What a wonderful meal! The staff was friendly and accommodating to English speakers. I had the fish plate, with fried potatoes and beets... it was wonderfully flavorful and filling. The prices were fair and it was not super touristy! Will definately be back!

We were surprised how good the food and service was. This tiny tiny little German place run by senior couple was very personal and had the feeling of going to eating "real" german food by Germans. My fiancée had amazing fish and I had good schnitzel. Good pancakes as a desert. Recommend

Excellent food and friendly service! Fish was amazing and the atmosphere is very calm, cosy and romantic. Perfect place to enjoy a nice dinner with a friend or partner.

We didn’t have reservations but was able to get a table. The food was simply amazing. There was so much food we could of shared a plate. I wish I had took a pic of the schnitzel..it was huge. Will def go back if we are in the area.
